The brief

The facility and the activity inside it.

The work included recurring photography and short-form filming across the courts, training, athletes, coaches and staff. Equipment and facility details added context to the action.

That mix gave the project several subjects to draw on. Wider photographs described the space, while the people and training material showed how it was used.

The work

Content around training and programmes.

The production library sat alongside promotional material for occasions and programmes, including Easter and holiday-camp skills content. Photography and short-form video supplied the visual material for that wider campaign work.

The completed engagement produced a collection covering the physical facility, its people and basketball activity. The case selection focuses on that delivered production work.

For your business

Planning content for a sports facility.

What should photography for a basketball or fitness facility cover?

Show the space, equipment, coaches and the activity people come for. Wider photographs explain the layout; closer frames show training and the people involved. The Hoops Culture HQ production covered that mix across facility photography and short-form video.

How can a sports facility prepare content for a holiday programme?

Confirm the programme details and audience first, then plan the photographs and short videos that explain the activity. Leave time for editing and approval before promotion begins. The Hoops Culture HQ work included visual material for Easter and holiday-camp skills content.

What needs planning before filming a training session?

Agree the session schedule, camera positions and the people who can appear in the finished material. Confirm participant permissions, including the appropriate permission for children, before the shoot. A clear plan helps the session continue while the relevant training activity is photographed and filmed.
