Photographing the vehicle and the work behind it.
Our work with Xotic Customs brings photography and short-form video into repeated productions. We handle planning, capture and editing, with colour and sound work included in the finished video delivery.
The photographic selection includes polishing, film application and views of completed vehicle surfaces. Those subjects show both the workshop activity and the finished details a customer wants to look at closely.
Detail has a place beside the wider view.
Vehicle photography needs room for the shape of the car and for individual parts of the work. In the existing library, closer views of the finish sit alongside wider vehicle photographs.
The short-form video adds movement to that selection. Across the recurring shoots, still images and edited films build a record of different vehicles and work at the workshop.

An ongoing photo and video library.
The relationship has produced edited photography and delivered video across multiple shoots. The library continues to grow through recurring production, giving Xotic Customs material from its own work to use online.
Planning content for your workshop.
What should automotive workshop photography show?
Include the vehicle, the close details of the finish and the people or processes behind it. Xotic Customs’ library pairs wider vehicle photographs with polishing, film application and finished surfaces. A customer can see both the work in progress and the result in the frame.
How do you plan recurring car photography and short-form video?
Build the shot list around the vehicles and work actually booked into the workshop. Agree access and customer permission, then identify which stages should be photographed or filmed before they change. Keep track of the subjects already covered so later shoots add something useful.
What makes a workshop video useful to a prospective customer?
Give it a clear subject: an action, a finish or a part of the process that a photograph cannot fully explain. Plan the sequence and intended format before filming. The edit can then show that work clearly instead of relying only on disconnected shots of the completed car.

We produce commercial photography and video around the vehicles, people and work your business needs to show.
